The old Certificate IV in Bookkeeping FNS40215 is a nationally recognised qualification that’s ideal for aspiring and practising bookkeepers and BAS (Business Activity Statement) agents.

This course will train you to set up and maintain computerised accounting systems, prepare financial statements and carry out payroll procedures. It includes competencies stipulated by the Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) for registered BAS (Business Activity Statement) agents and TASA content.

Available as an online course or through distance learning, it offers that flexible study at home option. Upon successful completion, you will also have the advantage of a qualification that is recognised by the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers. You have 12 months for completion of the full course, if required.  If studying one unit at a time, the completion period is 3 months however extensions are available in blocks of 3 months for $99, if required.

By completing the full course, your qualification could lead to a new career or you can use it towards further studies.  Our experienced trainers (Accountants) are available if you need guidance as you progress through your course.   After completing this Certificate IV course you may wish to consider a Certificate IV in Accounting or even the Diploma of Accounting.  If you already have some experience in bookkeeping you may wish to consider a dual qualification or jump straight into the Cert IV in Accounting.

The Tax Practitioners Board (TPB) will recognise the Certificate IV in Bookkeeping FNS40215 as having met the educational requirements to register as a BAS (Business Activity Statement) agent.This course meets the TPB’s current educational requirements for registered BAS agents, as well as the new requirements effective from 1 March 2012. Additional eligibility criteria apply.

Pricing: Online $1395 full course (13 units), or $139 per unit (study one unit at a time);  Distance learning $1695 full course or $169 per unit + postage.  Postage will be $10 if studying one unit at a time or $30 if studying the full course.

If you have completed relevant units of study previously, please also send us your transcripts so we can allocate Credit Transfer to you for those units.

DUAL Qualification FNS40215 Certificate IV in Bookkeeping PLUS FNS40615 Certificate IV in Accounting

We offer the dual qualification of the FNS40215 and FNS40615 through the study of 14 units for just $1673 by online elearning or $2153 by distance learning (online + hard copy of units mailed).  Or you can pay per unit at $139 each for online study. A Dual Qualification completion incorporates our pre-selected units from both qualifications, but you still have the choice of one elective to suit your requirements.
