What is the USI – for Courses throughout Australia

WHAT IS THE U.S.I.   –  If you intend to enrol in a course, you will need to create for yourself a USI – a Unique Student Identifier (number) and let us know what it is.  No matter which institution you choose, a USI will be required.  It is a compulsory Government requirement for all students studying any accredited course in Australia.

Your USI will help keep your training records and results together in an online account controlled by you.

Each time you enrol to study with a new training organisation, your USI will be used to store your training records and results.

By having a USI you will be able to access your training records and results (or transcript) whenever you need them. For example, for a new employer or when you enrol to study at a new training organisation.

Your USI can be accessed online from your computer, tablet or smart phone and gives you access to your training records and results at your fingertips.

International students should read the guides on this government website.

Then let us know your number when you enrol.  You can Click below if you want to create your USI now.

A U.S.I. is required before we can issue a final qualifying certificate for any qualification.  You can still apply to commence any of our courses at any time and then just let us know your USI number after you have created it through the link above.  Please phone us on 1300 765 400 if you have difficulty with this.

Our students occasionally ask why their Statements of Attainment are not available to download from their USI account. The USI Office has some helpful student resources explaining what they can expect to see on their USI Transcript and we have provided some helpful links below:
